Just a thought

I couldn't believe he said, but he did THREE times.

"We have spent more in 3 weeks in Iraq than we did in the last 6 years in Afghanistan"

I knew it was wrong, we have spent more than 200 Billion in Afghanistan....and Obama/Biden complains about spending $10 billion a year month...[update per commenter]

Is Joe really saying that we have only spent 7.5 billion in Afghanistan over the last 6 years?

Come on Joe, say it ain't so.

Correction: Did you mean to say $10 billion a month, not a year.

Some numbers

CRS Report for Congress

The Cost of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Other Global War
on Terror Operations Since 9/11

Covers FY2001 - FY2009
Afghanistan war $172 billion (8 yrs)
Iraq war $653 billion (6 years)

Let's just take average / year / week

AF: $21.5 billion / yr
IR: $109 billion / yr

3 weeks of IR $6.3 billion
7 years of AF $150.5 billion

So, Nick, we "ae absolue idiots", eh?

"we spend more money in three weeks on combat in Iraq than we spent on the entirety of the last seven years that we have been in Afghanistan BUILDING that country."

That's false. You are wrong.

If you believe you are right, provide some documentation and facts. Data.

You are wrong.

And I guess that tells us who is an "absolue" idiot, eh?

Nick, if you weren't so blind maybe you could see something other than Obama's ass.

Maybe Palin was being nice to a pathetic old man that after 35 years in the Congress doesn't know the Constitution, talks about going to a diner that closed 15 years ago and lies so often that fact checkers are the only category of service workers that showed an increase in employment last month.

But, hey Nick, stay delusional, your are a good source of humor.
